NovaCard Participates in the 14th NSPK Technology Conference

NovaCard took part in the 14th Technology Conference of the National Payment Card System (NSPK), held on December 16 and attended by key industry players. The event provided a platform for discussing major trends and innovations in the payment industry, featuring 19 speakers and 650 professionals from across the sector.

The main announcement at the conference was the launch of the pilot project titled “MirLink” - NSPK’s solution for standardizing interactions between acquiring services and banks’ payment solutions. The technology will allow banks to roll out their own PAY solutions faster, while giving users a wider choice of payment options. Testing with six banks will continue until January 2026. Early users highlighted benefits such as convenience, lower service costs, and new opportunities to boost customer loyalty.

The conference also featured fraud-prevention statistics: the NSPK fraud-monitoring system detects approximately 77,000 suspicious transactions daily. By the end of 2025, the total value of such transactions reached 16.5 billion rubles, 2.5 times higher than the previous year. NSPK attributes this increase not to more attacks, but to improved monitoring system effectiveness.

A separate session covered the development of the Faster Payments System (SBP) and the Biometric Services Platform (BSP). NSPK plans to expand SBP applications, including government-to-citizen (G2C) payments.

NovaCard thanks the organizers for a timely and engaging discussion and looks forward to future meetings.
