The use of NFC payment plates is convenient and cost-effective for banks, offering an efficient alternative to traditional acquiring with lower fees, instant settlement to the merchant’s account, and the ability to send electronic fiscal receipts.
A payment plate contains an NFC tag with an external antenna and a personalized payment link for the customer. It works even on metal surfaces due to rear-side shielding.
The front side features a graphic QR code protected by durable laminate. A special polymer coating can be applied upon request.
NovaCard manufactures NFC payment plates with one or two chips in sizes 86 × 124 mm and 110 × 110 mm. The product is certified by the Mir payment system.
