NovaCard at the Heart of Central Asia's Digital Agenda: Digital Uzbekistan 2026 Highlights
On May 19–20, Tashkent once again became the center of Central Asia's digital agenda, hosting the 6th International PLUS Forum Digital Uzbekistan at the AZIMUT Grand Hotel. The event brought together over 2,000 delegates from nearly 30 countries — from the United States and China to the UAE and European nations.
Key priorities of the forum included driving economic growth across Central Asia, expanding international cooperation, and launching new large-scale projects.
The agenda focused on digital transformation of public infrastructure, fintech, crypto regulation, Islamic banking, cybersecurity, and capital markets. More than 130 speakers and over 100 participating companies showcased technologies that are shaping the future of the region.
The NovaCard team used the forum as an effective platform to expand business networks and scale up international partnerships. A series of negotiations with Uzbekistan's banking sector took place during the event: partnership roadmaps were outlined, and the updated BNBS product was presented, drawing genuine interest from the fintech community.
NovaCard extends its gratitude to the organizers for the impeccable execution of the forum, and to its partners for their enthusiastic response to our latest technological solutions. We firmly believe that the contours of the new fintech are being shaped at the intersection of traditions and cultures.
